Police Federation of England and Wales appoints Ten Alps advertsing and publishing contract

1st May 2009

Now in its 40th year, Police magazine is at the forefront of modern policing media. Police is published monthly and distributed to members, via their local Federation offices, in all 43 forces across England and Wales. Carrying thought provoking and often challenging editorial, Police magazine is seen as the voice of authority for the sector.

Police is avidly read by Police Officers of all ranks, Police staff and widely across local and national government. Ten Alps have been appointed to boost the quality and volume of advertising within this niche magazine, focusing on the readership profile and value in the market. Ten Alps’ expertise in developing new media for clients will extend to the creation of a Police magazine website, a recruitment site for both inter-force and external vacancies and also a classified portal – enabling members of the federation to post adverts online and in Police.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for us to work with a commercial partner to deliver a real benefit to members,” commented Syreeta Lund, Editor of Police. “Ten Alps impressed us with their vision and depth of service, we are looking forward to a busy future”.

Adam Gallucci, Business Development Manager at Ten Alps said, “Police is a respected publication and will sit well within our portfolio of niche member titles. We are enthusiastic about this newly forged relationship and hope to rollout a number of cutting-edge digital products in the very near future”. Ten Alps will start work in the June issue of Police.
